Hello!
I wanted to create this group for those who are planning on applying for the MX nursing program. Just curious on people's thoughts on applying to the RN program
I believe the application cycle begins August 24th. Would love to get in contact with other applicants! Have you taken the TEAS already? Do you still have a prereq to complete? Lets all chat!

Even going into the nursing office things weren't clear to me but I didn't want to frustrate anyone so I just let it be. I think the staff and the process should be easier to navigate. My advisor didn't even tell me to apply early to get that packet that would explain a lot. Some schools want you to submit medical records etc after you get in. I realized last minute what I needed to do. Anyway, hopefully everything works out for all of us 🙂
I'm sorry you had that experience! I feel that completely because you don't want to be labeled as overreacting, but it's a nerve wracking process. I do hope it all works out too 🙂 Did you ever hear from anyone?
Alert! Please note that you may not receive an acceptance email or letter first, instead you need to go into the academic records portal where you can find the selective application and click accept or reject the offer....if offered. I'm assuming the email/letter comes later. Our nursing information session did not mention this part. In fact, in that session they mentioned keep an eye out for the email and to check our Spam folders because sometimes people miss it and thus don't get into the program. This information it was incorrect unfortunately, and I will make them aware of that. I take meticulous notes and ask lots of questions so I know I did not hear it wrong. The deadline to accept was today for me, luckily I saw it 😲. In fact this forum, the 2024 selection via a Google search today is what made me suspicious and go check the portal vs checking my email five times a day. Considering application just ended 4 days ago I'm really shocked, but also very grateful. I attached a picture of what you may see. Good luck!
