Hey guys! My name’s Aminah and I’m gearing up to apply to Malcolm X’s Fall 2021 nursing program (woo-hoo!). Previous Malcolm X forums have been super helpful with giving me an idea of the program/ preparing me to apply so I wanted to start one for Fall 2021!
I believe the application cycle begins January 4th. Would love to get in contact with other applicants! Have you taken the TEAS already? Do you still have a prereq to complete? Let’s chat ?.

From the website: Students must score a minimum of 65% in the cumulative, and 73% in the reading for the AAS Degree Nursing Program. Students must score a minimum of 60% in the cumulative, and 70% in the reading for the Practical Nursing program.
I had a quick question! So I'm applying to the Spring 2022 cohort and I just started my application when it opened on the 30th of August. For the TEAS, can I just go ahead and register as long as it's taken at/through Malcolm X? There's an availability to take it in person in October and I want to register before spots get filled up.

yes. if I were you, I would check out Malcolm X Spring 2022 post as people here are already busy and might not look at this trail anymore. ? someone created a new post for Spring 2022. good luck!
I googled discounted titers since my insurance doesn’t cover them. The school also sent this link for discounted titers: https://www.schooltiters.com/
The bloodwork you’re describing sounds like you’ve already received titers though.

Thanks in advance!
E7 health is where I got my blood work done they give a student discount if you don’t have insurance.
