Can we use home grown/EPIC EMR Care plans if the hospitals goal is to become Magnet Statues?

In what context? Usually Care plans are JCO-driven. I assume your facility has policies and the care plans are in EPIC, not nurse-made.

Our Hospital is going live with EPIC in 2018, and the end users are questioning if the EPIC care plans that are in model will meet JCO and Magnet requirements.

I know of many EPIC facilities that are also Magnet.... so I guess that it certainly wouldn't be an obstacle. This will undoubtedly be addressed by the people who work with the implementation.

I don't think Magnet addresses anything with regards to care plans. That would strictly be a TJC/CMS thing.
