Hello everyone!!! Just submitted my application, have taken my HESI, all prerequisites are finished, now the waiting game begins. I was looking for people who were also on this journey.

Does anyone know if they start calling when people don't pay or if they wait till after the orientation?

Can we find out how many students didn't pay on time!

I can see them letting people know about positions that are available, if people didn't pay, during orientation.

Any updates from alternate list? Does anyone know about that?

You won't know for a while. They dotb start calling until they even have the admitted students date starts. I heard most alternates don't get called until months later because the other students get first dibs.

Is there any way I can find out, how many people made the deposit $100.

Last year rbery student made their 100 dollar deposit ... On the day of the alternative orientation all 40 of is wanted to know had any alternatives been called yet or if any people who made the cut actually declined their spot ... I know last year by orientation they told us NO ONE HAD DECLINED THEIR SPOT and everyone had payed ... We didnt start hearing about the alternative list moving until june ... .... But i also read on one of the threads that one year at alternative orientation 3people were chosen THAT DAY TO START THE PROGRAM FOR MARCH.... BTW ALTERNATIVES YOUR start date will be march 2017 ... Automatically unless 40 people who makes it wants to switch to a later start date.... Keep your fingers crossed guys ... But if your in the top 10 im almost sure u will get in you just have to ppay the waiti g game

Hello everyone! I recently applied for the 2017 nursing program, I just had a quick question & hope you can help me! I received a B- in my intro nursing class, but have an A in the other core classes, will they look specifically at that grade because it's a core class or will they just look at my overall gpa? I'm a little confused and just need to know if I shoud retake it. Thank you!

They go based on the average of the 4 pre reqs. If you truly got an A in A&P, Micro, and English then you'd probably be fine. But I'm a little confused how you got solid A's in the more difficult classes and not Intro.

Lol, I missed the first week of class & missed 25 points right off the bat. Or else I would've had an A.

Also what would be the best study method for the HESI? I'm going to buy the study guide from MCC today. Just wondering if there was anything else I should know or should study from, etc. I'm psyching myself out lol.

Ahh gotcha. I just used the study guide and got a 90. I would study from your A&P notes for the anatomy though, the guide doesn't go in depth enough.
