Let's share our experiences !!! I just wanted to start a page for those who are getting ready for Macomb Nursing program 2014.

I actually applied this year(2013) for the first time. Unfortunately I was't accepted, but I am hoping to be accepted next year! I want to share my experiences, and meet people who are also applying.

I have completed all the prerequisites, and I plan to retake the Hesi test sometime this year.

you did or didnt get in? did you mean didnt? because i applied with a 81 hesi and 3.62 last year and didnt get in

did you retake the hesi? or did you apply with the same scores and gpa?

I retook two classes in which I had Bs( English and micro) and I retook the hesi as well, but I still didn't do as good as I wanted.

This year I'm applying with a 4.0gpa and a 84 hesi

I applied last year with a 3.517 GPA and 86 HESI. I ranked 174, so I was the 14th alternate. They called me in January & offered me a spot, but I had to decline. I'll be reapplying this year with the same scores.

I received my letter yesterday! Got all excited until I saw it was just an informational piece of mail. But at least I know I've made it this far! I have a 4.0 with 94 on the HESI, hoping to get into an early class! I'm so excited I can hardly concentrate on anything else. This means the world to me! Good luck to everyone! Looking forward to meeting you!

I guess I miscalculated my GPA so I'll be applying with a 3.43 GPA and 91 HESI score. I'm starting to feel really nervous about our letters...

I think we found the first-place holder. I'm hoping to start in August with a 3.9294 and a 90 on the HESI. I wish I knew how many people were applying. I remember about 1/2 of the people taking the HESI when I was said they were doing it for practice and weren't applying yet. Hopefully, everyone will get a chance :)
