Macomb Community College Nursing 2014

Published

Let's share our experiences !!! I just wanted to start a page for those who are getting ready for Macomb Nursing program 2014.

I actually applied this year(2013) for the first time. Unfortunately I was't accepted, but I am hoping to be accepted next year! I want to share my experiences, and meet people who are also applying.

I have completed all the prerequisites, and I plan to retake the Hesi test sometime this year.

Welcome!

:)

Macomb only uses the five HESI section they list. Math, a&p, reading comprehension, vocab, and I think the last English is grammar.

I think the study guide is enough. That's all I'll be using, and maybe some apps to review the material.

Hi guys, I will also be taking my hesi in january 7. I know some people have a date of dec 20th so please let us know how it is :)

I have both the 2nd and 3rd HESI Eslovier books to practice with, how did those help anybody who has taken it?

I am using this websites (esp. for vocab):

Free Hesi A2 Practice Tests | HESI - Test-Guide.com

how was vocab for everyone did it seem to be what was in those practice books?

Hope to hear feedback

-Rachel

hi everyone I only have a 3.47 applying this semester talked to someone who applied recently with 347 and 91 hesi and they got in number 122 ,,,, sooooo im hoping for the best..... did the hesi book help for the anatomy and physiology portion on test for anybody who has already took the test ..... good luck again everyone

Rachel I am using only the book and an app called quizlet to study for the vocabulary portion.

I really need to go over those words bc last year when I took the hesi my worst score was on the vocabulary portion.

Thanks for the tips!

Deanna we will make it! The higher ur hesi score the better chances u have to make into the program :)

I finally retook the classes I got a b ( English and micro), so this time I will be applying with 4.0 and hopefully a higher hesi score! I can't wait to start nursing school with all of you!

do you think the words that are listed in the book are pretty much what we need to know for the test ??? how is everybody managing studying anad the holidays

Just wanted to share a great site for studying the A&P portion Cards: HESI A2 Entrance - A&P | Quizlet let me know what you guys think

Hi ya'll

I've been keeping up with this feed for awhile and just finally made an account today.

I just took my HESI Dec 20th and was really bummed because I just didn't do as well as I really hoped I would. Got an 86 and was really hoping I could get in the 90's because my GPA is not so great. I'll be applying with a 3.4 gpa and an 86 hesi. I really have no idea if this is going to be good enough to get me in. I know a lot of other people are in a lot better places than I. If anyone has any questions about the Hesi let me know.

@a.carolina if you don't mind me asking, I saw you said you applied last year and didn't get in? If you don't mind me asking what did you apply with last time? If you don't want to answer that is ttly okay just let me know :)
