Let's share our experiences !!! I just wanted to start a page for those who are getting ready for Macomb Nursing program 2014.
I actually applied this year(2013) for the first time. Unfortunately I was't accepted, but I am hoping to be accepted next year! I want to share my experiences, and meet people who are also applying.
I have completed all the prerequisites, and I plan to retake the Hesi test sometime this year.
Just recently took my hesi and got an 86, not really sure that is going to get me into the program. Do you just check a gpa calculator to check your gpa for the four classes?
Thanks rblmn, in that case I have a 3.43 fingers super crossed. I have a friend that got in this past year with an 86 hesi and a 3.6 and she was ranked 122, so I suppose it's possible!
Hey guys i dont take my hesi until jan 8 Good job too the girl that has a 3.97 gpa and 90 on the hesi I KNOW YOU WILL GET IN AND PROBALLY START IN AUGUST ........ I ONLY GOT 2 OF my grades back unfortuntaely i got a b+ in A&P took it in the summer and missed a lab exam because of my epilepsy :-( but i got my patho biology grade back and its an A+ got my intro to nursing grade back and its an A+ now im just waiting for my english grade I am praying to God that it is an A+ as well but i know it could possibly an A- which would give me an 3.65 or 3.73 gpa which i would apply with TO you who got an 90 on the hesi what did you have to study for the ap part...... any advice was an calculator used ?????? Guys our journey begins now !!! im excited Hope we all get in

Deanna just google gpa calculator, the first one that comes up should be good! I'm waiting to find out my patho microbiology grade! Hopefully it will be an A!!! And of course in retaking the hesi on jan 8th!!
Congrats to those who have already taking it and got grades back!! Soon we will all become the new Nursing students! I can't wait!

I'm new to this site and I have a few questions. I just finished my pre-req's and my gpa is 3.85. I'm taking the HESI exam on January 7th. I purchased the study guide from the bookstore. For those that have taken the exam, is this book sufficient, or should I study my A&P notes? Is the A&P questions scenario our definition based? Thank you and good luck to everyone.
Ps.... anyone willing to share their gpa and HESI scores?

I'm so excited too!! Two more days for me and the semester will be over! Then, wow hesi will come faster than with think!! We will make it!!!
