I was wondering if anyone has registered to take their HESI in the fall and are planning to apply to Macomb's nursing program for the 2013 admission cycle!?

Has anyone gotten their titers and physical stuff done yet? I have health insurance so I'm wondering If it would be cheaper to go to my doctor or the "discounted student prices" that they sent us at the health department.

I got mine done through work, but before I had that option my dr office was saying they could classify it as "preventative" and it would be covered under my insurance... Worth a try!

Does anybody know how to access the ace passport system?

I think we do the ACE after we are in the program but before the second 8 weeks start. I don't know how so I am hoping they go over that?

spoke w/------------- about ace passport. apparently there is a new system and everything just needs to be completed prior to end of first 8 weeks. (i am october start.) we will receive an email mid october.

question for current nursing students already in the program...i was thinking about taking the chem pre-req (Chem 1170) for the msu rn to bsn programduring my first semester of the nursing program...would you guys recommend me do this or is the first semester pretty overwhelming Already? Any Suggestions Please! Thanks!

I called my health insurance "blue cross blue shield and they actually covered my titers 100% im not sure if that is for everyones plan but its worth calling the number on the back of your card.
