Macomb Community College Nursing 2013

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has registered to take their HESI in the fall and are planning to apply to Macomb's nursing program for the 2013 admission cycle!?

Let me know!

Maybe they put the stress on us to prepare us for our future careers. Like "eh... Put the nursing kids last... They can handle the stress" lol. I feel like after this insanely long wait these last couple days and hours are torture. I am so out of control at home trying to think about anything but nursing, but the only thing that calms me is this thread and looking up information about the nursing program as if there is one piece of information available that I don't already have memorized. Wish when I woke up tomorrow it'd be Wednesday!

I've been following your thread the last couple days, I'm part of the 2012 group. I remember like it was just yesterday the anxiety/excitement waiting for my letter! It's crazy because you have to wait on EVERYTHING, since they let you know your start dates, classes, etc, be prepared to wait and wait and wait lol It's not my strong suit that's for sure.

I just called because I'm a nervous wreck. They said letters arent going out until the end of the month. As I was questioning her, she said they use a computer system, which ranks automatically, then she said they go through them one by one, and thats what takes the longest. She said they wont even be finished with this process by the end of the week. Can someone else call, for some reason I dont believe this!

Oh and she also said we can absouletly come in when letters go out, to find out.

well, maybe if you call back around noon- after the mail has been sent out- they may be able to let you know if you can go in today to find out.

The enrollment office really likes pulling our legs dont they... My friend called today and they said they are going to be sent out tmrw..

So far we've got...

1. Today

2. Tomorrow.

and my favorite.. 3. The end of the month!!

Im not going to lie, this kind of aggravates me a little. I understand they probably get many calls asking for information about the nursing program everyday but I hat having to wonder if the information I get when calling is correct. I wish that everyone was informed and at the very least is there is information they don't want to share i would feel a lot better if they just said sorry I cant share that. I feel like if you called ten times you would get ten slightly different stories and that just leaves us all more confused! Given the last three years and the information given last I bet we will get our letters on Wednesday!!!

I called just now and she said letters have been sent out and 335 were ranked. Has anyone else gotten different numbers?
