Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone has registered to take their HESI in the fall and are planning to apply to Macomb's nursing program for the 2013 admission cycle!?
Let me know!
I just called and was told the letters went out in today's mail but that I can't come in and have it printed yet. They said I could call back by the end of this week and they could give me a date as to when I could come in and have my letter printed... By then I would have the stinking letter! lol Ugh! So much stress!!!
Well, since I have nothing of importance to do today and center campus is along the route to my girlfriend's house, I will go there in person (hopefully to get my letter printed) and find out what I can.9 guests viewing, join the forum and the conversation. :)
What time are you going to be going to campus?

It is always easier to tell someone no on the phone. If someone goes there in person, then they will probably give the letter. I don't want to go there and ask - no way! It sounds like the enrollment office has had their share of calls lol
After calling and speaking to numerous people, and telling me I could come it up, I left work to go there. DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME TO GO THERE. after speaking to three different people, they said they could not release it. I told her the names of the people I spoke to today, and she well they must be confused, but we cant give them to you. SO please dont waste your time going up there thinking you will get it like I did, I left empty handed and ticked. She said shes the one who specifically handles the nursing program and said the letters went out this morning. So hopefully we will get them tomorrow. Good luck everyone:)
I figured someone would have a better chance showing up in person than finding anything on the phone. I am not excited about having to wait until tomorrow to find out, but I wouldn't want to stand there reading a possible rejection letter either. I will just wait to get the mail tomorrow and it will be torture having to wait till after work to get home and get the mail. I am sure some of you will post information so I will have a good idea tomorrow if I make the cut or not

I was given this information at the nursing information session. I went to the session in early June of 2012 and they had the numbers of 3.43 and 87 Hesi score as the bottom person accepted. I know there were alternates that were accepted into the program in December of 2012 because there was someone in my A&P class last fall that was repeating to get a better grade, and then she was accepted for the March 2013 start (she was an alternate and accepted in December). So to answer your question, those numbers have to be without alternates.
