Macomb Community College Nursing 2013

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has registered to take their HESI in the fall and are planning to apply to Macomb's nursing program for the 2013 admission cycle!?

Let me know!

SO happy we got these letters! It's definitely better than nothing. Cant wait for the next letter!

To those that have a difference in GPA from the letter, I say you should absolutely call without hesitation. It could 0.02 could make a huge difference. I would definitely call! And thank you to whoever it was that looked up those dates ? somehow when I open this app and read new posts it helps my anxiety lol.

You're welcome CarissaLynn and I did it because I am super anxious also! This is going to be a long wait and most of you seem to get your mail earlier in the day than I do so I will be stalking this site to see who gets to open their's 1st! This site is the only thing that helps us all right now. The only people that want us to receive these letters faster than we do in our family & friends. I know they want us to stop talking about it! Lol

I was super excited that my letter came to my house today not my parents, so I will be the first to touch my mail! Lol

Got my letter:) GPA: 3.9226. Now if we could just get our acceptance letters sooner because this wait is killing me, and we only have about 2 weeks before we find out. The last couple of days will be torture: nailbiting.

@sterlingheights, yes thank you for those dates, gives us a little bit of peace of mind knowing when to expect our letters! And my mail doesn't come until late afternoon as well, so I'll be stalking the site too lol. I've been reading last years thread (yes all 500+ comments lol), it's the only thing that has been keeping me sane lately lol.

Oh and since the GPA letters are out, they should know how many are being ranked so I will give them a call later on today to check. Hopefully, I'll get a low number (fingers crossed). I'll let you know what I find out. ?

Has anyone figured out how many ranking letters went out?

So the first time I called the person told me they don't know anything! The second time the lady told me she can't give out any information, and the third time I got the following... The lady that I spoke to said that 335 are being ranked and that the acceptance letters will go out the week of April 22nd, hopefully not too long after. The letters will not have our rank on it, but we could go into their office and they can check it for us and let us know. She said it does take about a week to get everything into the system to give them about a week after the letters go out before they can tell you your rank.

So if the first person you call has no info for you, I would ask to transfer you to someone who can help you out!

Last year they had around 245 people being ranked, this year is a little higher, but don't be discouraged... We WILL get it :D!!! Good luck!!!!

Feeling so nervous now! 90 more ppl then last year. Although ppl were getting in last year with 3.5s. Has anyone heard if GPAs and HESI test are higher or lower?

We must be the biggest worrywarts ever. The 2012 group around this time last year had less than half the comments we do. :writing: And Thank you m.obd.90 for calling 3 times. I called twice and couldn’t get anyone to help me. They act like their working for the CIA or something. :specs:

I can not believe only 400 are being ranked!!!! This is so exciting. The counselors always told me I was up against 1500+ people. Such a big relief.
