Macomb Community College Nursing 2013

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has registered to take their HESI in the fall and are planning to apply to Macomb's nursing program for the 2013 admission cycle!?

Let me know!

My mail already came we didn't get them today :( hopefully tomorrow!

Annoying! At this rate we won't get our acceptance/denial letters until May :(

I work at a hospital and the Macomb nursing students come here and one of the instructors said 600 applied but only 300 and something met all the requirements.

I guess it makes me feel better that it's only out of 300 something now but it makes me feel uneasy that nearly half the people that applied didn't meet the requirements. It's pretty obvious what was required. The 4 main classes, nutrition, psych, HESI, etc. Maybe these people weren't as serious as we were about applying. Hope I didn't miss anything. Multiple advisors at the school told me I have everything. Yikes, guess we'll see.

That's kind of good news about the 300 hopefully it is accurate. ? If you had everything complete then enrollment sends out a letter saying they have everything. Micro, A&P, intro to nursing and English are the 4 classes they take your GPA off of to rank you. The rest of the classes just need to be completed by certain points of the program. After gym class this summer I'm complete with everything!!! Good luck everyone!!!

Maybe if we all keep calling and bugging them enough, they will get them done sooner! Just an idea ;) Lol!

This means no acceptance letter until May probably. So depressing. I seriously cannot contain myself anymore.

It sucks that the past 2 years got their GPA letters by now and of course the year we are applying it is delayed. Do you think that it has to do with the Easter holiday week we had off? Maybe the whole campus was off and they didn't finish letters in time to send them out this week. Just a thought!
