2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

I also got a denial letter and have appealed - keeping my fingers crossed!

I thought I read somewhere that they wouldn't be accepting appeals for next fall until after June 1st?

The board meeting where they decide on the appeals may not be until after that date; I am not sure. I have submitted all of my paperwork and the info from the counselor though.

When I turned in all my forms to appeal financial aid, they told me that they would have a deciscion by June 8 in case anyone is wondering.

The appeals board met Wednesday of this week. What a test of our patience! Not only did we bust our humps and then wait anxiously to be accepted into the nursing program, so many of us now have to sit patiently for this step. I'm just going to presume we all get our financial aid and we can begin focusing on preparation for school to start this year. Bless us!

Well my appeal was screwed up. When I spoke to a person in financial aid a while back, they told me to print the form off of the website, see a counselor and submit everything, which I did. Unfortunately, when I was told to do this, the form online still had the 2010-2011 date on it. Now I have to redo everything with the 2011-2012 form and wait until the June 29th board meeting. AHHHH!

I applied for FAFSA and got it. I have never applied for it before, can anyone tell me exactly how it works?

Went to nursing office today and we will have the letters by next Thursday.

For some reason I recall them saying they would be mailed on the 21st; so Thursday fits.

I just turned in my appeal form the other day. I hope my appeal doesn't get denied. I've taken too many credits because I already have an ABA degree. ;-/ I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks!
