How long have you been waiting? Since your an LVN did you have to take the ATI testing or any type of testing yet?

I graduated from there and am still waiting for my diploma. I had a great experience and suggest you keep your cell phone handy as they go down the list during orientation and may just call you if someone drops.

Loved the program, the instructors were all great, Becky Miller is a gem and the reputation is wonderful. I had the chance to work with students after I graduated and they rotated their clinicals to facilities I was working. Great students. Super confident and they new the modules thye needed to focus on. Keey Terry in your mainline list. She is the department secretary. Make sure she has your contact numbers. You'll be in before you know it.

Thanks for the positive feedback :)

I've taken the school assessment exam, i don't remember taking ATI, not sure.... As far as i understand, once they call your name...you'll need to take the transition course. How long is the course and what do you have to do in there? How do they determine who gets to proceed and who cannot? Is it simply if you pass transition then you get to go? If not, then game over? Anyone know? Please share. Thanks!

Terry told me that i should be able to enter by Spring 09.....a very long time... :( But on the other hand...looking at my other option...private school../..30K+...my bf thinks i should wait...but im so worry what if santa ana won't work out....then i'll have to wait some more. but i'm tryin to think positive though.

Take a few pre reqs while your waiting. Just make darn sure you get your degree and your diploma before you complete the 2 semesters. Also, be visable from time to time on campus. It really helps if they know who you are.

I'm in...they called me today!! :) (aka LVN_LosAngeles)

GoofieLVN,
