  1. Hi Kelly, i have just one question. When you stated that your class started with 110 and then down to 53... After how far in the class did these people gone, or was it right off the beginning of the class that they dropped/failed? This is just for me to get an idea how to survive the class when it comes to me... Thanks. :)
  2. waaiting replied to sherri14's topic in LPN to RN
HI sherri, i almost gave into TCN at one point (3 yrs ago) when i was desperately need to get my RN fast. Then i did a lot of research on TCN and decided not to use them. I took my prereqs at a community college and applied to the bridge program. My sympathy for what you've been through with TCN. I can see how discouraging it is for you after what happened. If you still love nursing... perhaps, consider taking the prereqs, maybe one class at a time at a community college. Start off fresh that way... and slowly but surely get your RN while you still could work and have time for your kid?! Best wishes. PS. i realized u've said u cant physically be at a campus... For whatever reason... that could be tough though.
  3. i say follow your dreams... you can always fall back to your LVN again... just don't burn the bridge. GOod luck!! :)
  4. Hi hopeful, I wish you luck!!! I'm excited for you. I've taken ati test already but not the transitional class. I thought the transitional class is taken after they notify you to take? is that right?
  5. COngrats to you!!! I am also on the waitlist for SAC lvn-rn. Been 2 years already. What Number are you at when they contacted you, may i ask?
  6. i wanna know the same thing, because i'm looking to apply to this college. :/

  8. i have a 3.0 gpa in science...
  9. i linus, i too talked to isu and they also suggested me to contact tcn. but i went a head and applied for isu admission and transferred my prereq classes... then i went on isu my portal for students and got an audit for the degree. i'm from garden grove, ca. if you're live close. please pm me. i'm hoping to find someone near...
  10. Yes, i think GPA does matters... You need minimum 2.5 on Prereq science classes to apply...
  11. Hi Vargas, You were #44 two years ago and still waiting? I was #98 one year ago and now 78...
  12. Is anyone here on the waiting list for LVN-RN at SAC?? If, yes-- How long did you waited already and what # did you started with?? Thanks!!
  13. hi riversideCA. I understand that you are currently in ISU BSN program and i like to contact you via email if i could for some questions because i am recently just admitted to ISU (but not ISU Nursing program yet) and feel so lost. I am currently in OC, CA and still very confused where to go about this. I've spoke to a counselor at ISU and she referred me to sign up with TCN, but i'm not comfortable in signing up as i am trying to save as much money as possible. However, I did spoke to a TCN rep and according to them i still have a few classes i need to take in Phase I before i could proceed with Phase II. Anyways, i like to know how you went about from your situation to start with this program up to this point. Your answers would be very much helpful. Thanks a lot.
  14. I am on SAC lvn-rn waitlist.... It has been since june 2009 and i am now still slowly rolling down the list..... Anyone else been waiting??
