Hello Everyone!
I recently applied to the LVN to RN program at APU IE campus (Spring 2020).
I was informed it will take 6 weeks for the reviewing and decision making to be completed. I asked my academic advisor if there is an interview process or any further steps after. He stated a decision will be made at the 6 week mark whether you were accepted or denied into the program.
Did anyone else apply for Spring 2020? I would love to hear from you all.
Have a blessed day !
I am so bummed I didn't want to loose hope but it seems they just have too many applicants and very limited spots. I gave it a try this is my second time applying. Some people have applied 4 times with no luck. So I have decided to apply to two other schools. Well good luck!! Keep us posted!!!!
May I ask , what campus did you apply to ?
I’m not really sure it’s based on luck. This was my first time applying and I had barely any work experience Bc I’m technically a new grad lvn.
i would recommend applying to other schools but more importantly considering retaking science courses. I’m pretty sure science gpa is most influential aspect of the application.
i have accepted an offer for admission elsewhere so I will be turning down my provisional acceptance to apu. Hopefully this opens a spot for others.

I received a telephone call from APU yesterday informing me that I am in the final stage of the application process. I am scheduled for my competency exam 11/11/19. If I pass I am granted a position for the Spring Semester 2020! I am very excited !
Hi there I ha e a question was it for Monrovia or San bernadino campus. I am trying to see because I am currently in the LVN to BSN program at APU momrovia so many of my friends applied and its seems as if the process is a tad bit different than when I got in.
@Hello nurse 2011 Thank you for the kind words. Have a blessed day !

Thats exactly what I have been reading. That applicants get rolled over to other terms. It has me on edge with checking my email and having my phone close to me. I agree with more of luck to get in. I bet almost all have good GPA's and they have more applicants than spots. Im thinking Im going to do the same as you and apply to other schools if I don't get in. Hopefully we get a call soon or email/snail mail something..
