Lvn

Hi everyone

My first time to post- I have been an LVN for 31 years, working now for ON_GYN office for 24 years, prior to that an hospital nurse for 6 years. I am curious as to who LVN/LPN are making across the country with the years of expierence that I have-not only do I do the triage, I am also the "nursing supervisor" over the medical assistants . My job includes just about everything including posting surgeries and dealing with insurance companies. I am currently making $20.00 an hour- I was hoping someone would say that is on the low end of the pay scale.

Would be happy to hear any feedback

thanks

To be honest, you are making better than I did as an LPN..... :D

I am an LVN in Fort Worth, Texas. At this date I only have 6 months of experience and earn $18.50 hourly as a LTC nurse at an upscale nursing home.

My friend is another inexperienced LVN who works at a small, poorly staffed nursing home in the Mid-Cities area of DFW, Texas. She earns $20.00 hourly for working the 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. shift.

hello,

8 years experience making $22.16 in Ft worth.... Welcome to allnurses:welcome:

6 months experience, started at $18/hour during the week and $19/hour on the weekends, in a few weeks I am due for my raise which is said to be around another $ per hour. I work in LTC.
