LvN requiring Cgfns

I am a Filipino Nurse and tried to apply for NCLEX PN because i could not sit for NCLEX RN due to the concurrency issue.

After long months of waiting. I have received a letter from BVNPT that i need my transcripts evaluated by a credentialing agency such as CGFNS. I was surprised because i never have had heard that lvn needs cgfns evaluation. Does anyone have the same experience as me? And what happened after?

Hi Guys, just an update with my PN application, I received a letter from BVNPT last Nov 2017 stating that they got my CGFNS-CES Evaluation, but there's one last problem, my school didn't stated that my Pharmacology was integrated with my major subject. So they now need a certified letter explaining why my school had a credits in the BVNPT form and yet I don't have details from CGFNS evaluation. it only takes 2 weeks to process my school the requirements that the board need. I was waiting for another requirements by the boards which is the list of institution you've been for my internship. This January 4, 2018, I received a letter from the board, I was really nervous because its another requirements, and I really losing hope about this, finally when I opened the mail piece, they told me that I am now eligible to take the NCLEX PN and they giving me till June to register. I am now started to refresh my nursing which is got dulled for long years. To those who like to continue pursuing their nursing career, please don't give up just because they don't have a NLE exam from their home Country or the board are not allowing to take the exam for some reason. I waited for 3 years to Board to find me eligible to sit in NCLEX PN exam.

hi guys. i am a registered nurse in the philippines, i graduated year 2011 and i am currently residing here in LA california just this year.. I heard that applying for nclex exam here in california requires foreign graduate to take defeciency units therefore studying again in order to sit for nclex exam so i decided to take lvn application instead.. i am in the process of applying cgfns and my problem was in this:

ERROR: Some of your recipients are not appropriate for an Academic Credential Evaluation Service report. You may remove recipients with the link below.

Must Remove CA BOARD OF VOCATIONAL NURSE / PSYCHIATRIC TECH--ERROR: State Boards are not valid recipients for an Academic report. You must purchase a separate CES Professional Report if the intended recipient is a State Board.

what does it mean? i need to choose the professional report instead of academic?

please help kabayans!! thank you

Hello po. You should choose Professional CES Report if you're applying for licensure/Nclex. It's the only report accepted by BON or State Board. Academic report is intended if you will pursue further studies in the US. Good luck!

hello everyone. I'm applying for LVN here in California. Question is, do I need to process the CGFNS first before sending my application for NCLEX-PN to BVNPT?

Hi sir Osis, just wanted to ask po if how many days till you received the letter from BVNPT after taking the exam? And also have you heard about breeze trick? Is it 100% accurate? I got a good result on that but im still thinking if this are accurate. Im still nervous lol. Thank you so much

oh so you took the exam, how was it? Did you get lots of SATA's? hehe

> I think about two weeks or more. Im not sure already. Based on my experience if breeze allows you to pay for initial license then most probably you passed. i also tried PVT trick and I belive that is also accurate. Goodluck!

It happened so fast that i cant remember anything. All I know is that it shuts off at 85 and im happy that its all done haha. I encountered 20 plus SATA and im not sure if I answered some correctly Lol

2 more weeks? :o i thought its only one week? I knew someone who received it for only a week while Someone from the other group told me that I should pay it right away to see my license number and that i shouldnt wait for the letter cause sometimes it varies,but im worried that im just paying for nothing and also i cant tell to my family if I already passed or not cause i dont have any proof yet :/ though i saw it changed and give me the option to apply for the VN licensure, im still anxious lol

Im scared to do the pvt trick :/

Idk, I already forgot how long I waited for the letter hehe But what I can tell you is that if breeze allows you to pay then you passed! YEY!! Congrats!! Pay the fee now dont wait lol

Yey! Lol thank you :) hope its real :D maybe i will just wait for the letter instead if its only one or two weeks. Btw, is it hard to find a job for lvn here in LA? Im worried cause i still dont have any experience :/ and also what is the current minimum salary for lvn? Thank you so much. Godbless
