hi guys, i just passed my NCLEX-VN exam... just curious, how long does it take to get your license in the mail?

Congratulations!! :yeah: I think it was a few weeks after my name was on the BON in my state, it wasn't too long. Good luck!!

It all depends on the State that is issuing you that license. I hold a Connecticut license. I saw my name on the BON website with a license number about 2 or 3 days after I got my quick results. It was another 5 days or so before my license was in my mailbox.

In CA, expect it to take 4-6 weeks unless you go and pay in person. Maybe things have changed since I received my license in 2009.

yeah it depens on the state i took my boards march 19 2012, checked pearson view on the 20th it said results not available , but then i logged into my state account and it said license active and my license number and then i did a nurse search on my states website and guess what my name was there, yaaayyyy me, lol so i found all this out 1 day after taking my boards, this was in pennsylvania and i got my license in the mail six days later, so each state really is different. i was in disbelief cuz this was wayyy faster than i ever heard of

I was in CA and my license took 14 days but others in my cohort took 6 weeks.
