  3. hello everyone, i'm a new nurse and recently got hired in LTC. i have a question, when do you need to call or page the doctor? thank you! :)
  4. thanks i will check on it :)
  5. thank you... I am considering home care also but at the same time doubtful because i dont have any experience aside from my clinical rotation. thanks so much :)
  6. thank you... i live in California & it's so hard to find a job in a clinic setting here... But im still looking though... & we plan to move to a different state hopefully. :)
  7. oh! i wanna work just like that i don't care if it pay less but atleast no stress & most importantly happy... what state are u from?
  8. hello guys, just wanna share my feelings about everything... just passed my NCLEX-VN March of this year... got an on-call job this Month (May) in LTC... Now, that i had my orientation I don't feel that i will like it. Maybe because i'm still adjusting to it? I am sad because prior to this, me and my husband has so much plan for the future. But i don't want to disappoint or i don't want him to think that i am a quitter. But i want to have a job that i am happy and comfortable on what i am doing. I am used to office/clerical jobs 8-5 shift. Is there anyway, that i can work as LVN but 8-5 shift? i'm so confused if i will continue being an LVN & i'm thinking about all the hard works that i've been through just to get my license. any advice? *sigh*
  9. thanks to all of you guys... you're are right, yes i get paid for my orientation & i am hired... thanks!
  10. hi guys, i just wondering if you get paid during Orientation? and does it mean that you are hired already? :)
