I've applied to the LVN to BSN cohort at National University in SD that begins in January 2013. Anyone else there apply, too? I'm currently waiting for an email so I can take the TEAS.

Alright another question is what is the break down for points on attempting prerequisite? Are each class worth points or what.? So if u took them all and passed them the first time is it an automatic 20 pts?

Hi SammiN: Thanks! Yes, all my other math and science courses are As, EXCEPT one of the science ones, which was a B+ in lecture, and A- in lab. What would my GPA be?

I was given wrong information about the science base points. I spoke to the lady that runs the program and she showed me how to correctly calculate it. You have a 3.84 GPA and 28.8 points out of a possible 30 points. Sorry for the mistake.

Yes, if you passed all the science classes to include biomed stats the first time around you would receive 20 points. If you had to repeat any class you would get 2 points instead of the possible 3 and 1 point if you had to retake the class a third time

Can't sleep can't eat, anyone else feel that way? I didn't finish the essay, started my conclusion and time was up... I just can't stop thinking about it.

Its okay. My friend didnt finish her essay either and she barley even had an introduction paragraph. Im sure there are plenty of people who didnt finish. One hour isnt much time at all. What Im worried about is if my TEAS score was enough. My score was 78.7%. Anyone else want to share what TEAS score they got?

I'm wondering where all the other applicants are, there are 75 applicants, but hardly anyone on this forum. The wait is killing me.

Ya, I applied to this cycle. I couldnt believe there were 75 applicants, thats A LOT of competition!!! Im already looking at back-up plans hahaha

Your TEAS score is actually really good. Did you tke the TEAS on Wednesday?

I took it on Thursday Oct 4th. I was so freaked out that my hands were shaking during the essay and my heart beating out of my chest during the entire TEAS, ha! The essay question was totally unexpected too. So the 2 essay outlines I was going over the night before didnt help at all. Oh well, nothing we can do now. Just have to wait and try to relax :)
