LVN-BSN National University January 2013 cohort

U.S.A. California

Hello!

I've applied to the LVN to BSN cohort at National University in SD that begins in January 2013. Anyone else there apply, too? I'm currently waiting for an email so I can take the TEAS.

I want to know! Another day closer to an answer...

I texted my friend who applied to the generic BSN january 2013 cohort... She took her TEAS/Essay early September and got an email from --------------- this week... Saying that she's finalizing the list for the generic BSN. That means ours will be later right?

Hopefully, she's finalizing all the cohort list. There are three cohorts that is starting in Jan

Wow!!! This is brutal!! Onto a new week hopefully this one being us all good news!!!

Applicants from the other cohorts said they received an email that they would know by last Saturday and haven't heard anything since. I wonder why they haven't emailed us to keep us in the loop

Good question it would be nice to get an update :)

Hello to all, I know that at least one the members in this forum got the acceptance letter from NU, besides that member has anyone else receive an email from school stating the status? I haven't receive anything yet and is making me nervous and I don't want to think negative.. OMG! please let me what you guys hear.

Thanks,

I don't think they emailed anyone in our cohort. The other cohorts have not received any acceptance or rejection emails either. I think everyone's application status still reads submitted.

I think we're all in the same boat. We're all left in the dark.

I think I've prepared myself for the worse, but definitely hoping for the best right now. However, I feel this particular cohort has been cheated? If I look at the open application period date range for our cohort, it has been open for one year!!! Versus past and other cohorts only being open for a few months. It just means a lesser chance to get in, of course. ARGHHH. Oh well, keeping my fingers crossed for us all!

It does seem unfair that our program is only offered once a year and only at certain schools. I wish they would have more LVN cycles available like they do with the Generic entry or the Accelerated BSN
