Hi!

I am looking for anyone who is attending/has graduated from LCCC's nursing program. Can you please share your acceptance details (when you got your letter, g.p.a., pax scores)? The school is so vague with their admissions details and rumors are constantly flying.

At the other end of the spectrum, if you have been denied admission to the program when did you get your letter, did they give a reason for denial?

Thank you to anyone who can help :) :)

Mine says applied also, does yours say start date S1/15?

Yep mine says applied and s1/15.

Hello, I also applied to LCCC for this 2015 fall and still waiting for the letter. I'm getting panic attacks lol. I know somebody that already got theirs. Somebody told me a RUMOR that they are sending the acceptance first. I guess we just have to wait. =(

Oh I am fully enveloped in panic attacks at this point. :)

Yep the LPNs started getting theirs on Monday and it seems like the regular students are beginning to get theirs.

The anxiety over this is unreal. !!!

If you don't mind me asking, what was your PAX score and GPA? I hope they don't look at the credits done because I just started college here in the States last semester, so I only got 10 credits done (just because they didn't accept my 120 credits from the Philippines, sucks right?)

Well they are not very clear on exactly how students gain admission into this program but I do know that the more of the classes you have done the better. Do you have AP1 done and enrolled in AP2 this semester? Are you in Micro?

No I don't mind. My gpa is a 4.0 and my pax score was 141. I transferred in some credits because I previously graduated from a local university. They did not take many, just a psych and english. Oh and gym.

Its a point system to get in. The more classes you have done the more points you get. I know that you need at least a 100 on the pax.

We are all just playing the waiting game. :/

Yup totally stressed out over here. I could use some good news in my life right about now. I have a 3.9 GPA and got a 150 on the PAX. I completed 17 credits last semester and am currently taking 14. I wish they assigned points for PAX based on score, I could totally use that to my advantage

I cannot possibly believe that the score will have no impact on their decision. Like a 150 pax? That score counts! 99 percentile. How can someone with a low pax even compare? That has to be a deal breaker because what the heck else is the point of the test?!

Im checking WebAdvisor every other hour. I hate being anxious over something I have no control over!!! LCCC just put me out of my misery!!!!!!

Im picturing it now... they gave the job to only one little old lady in the admissions office and she has to enter accepted or denied one student at a time in between taking phone calls. She only enters about 10-15 students a day. At least that is what I am telling myself. I really want to know in what kind of order they are sending these things out.

I wonder if we call them. I'm that desperate haha

My webadvisor page (under applicant->admission status) says accepted. I called the admissions office today to ask if the 'accepted' status on webadvisor meant I am actually accepted into the nursing program and she said the admissions office doesn't do anything with webadvisor. she then said that all letters would be sent out by the end of the month. so...i don't know.

It still says applied on mine. why u do dis

Anybody's says accepted too?

Does everyone have nursing listed as an "active program" under the "program evaluation" ?
