Hi!

I am looking for anyone who is attending/has graduated from LCCC's nursing program. Can you please share your acceptance details (when you got your letter, g.p.a., pax scores)? The school is so vague with their admissions details and rumors are constantly flying.

At the other end of the spectrum, if you have been denied admission to the program when did you get your letter, did they give a reason for denial?

Thank you to anyone who can help :) :)

I don't really know, but I started my prereqs about 3 years ago, but couldn't finish (personal reasons), but It all worked out because now I'm going to be starting the lpn program first because I can't imagine going to LCCC for 2 years doing prereqs then finally applying to the program and being denied or put on their LONG waiting list (another rumor) I can't stand it either there's so many rumors going around about it because the admission process is so vague like you said. I know it's very hard to get in though even with all your prereqs done. I know a girl that completed all of her prereqs then when she applied she got denied. Not once, not twice, but THREE times. smh Now she's in the LPN program. It's supposed to be easier to get in going through their LPN-RN bridge program.

That's what I don't understand. On one hand I hear how hard it is, but everyone that I've heard that has gotten accepted has a GPAs no higher than 3.5 and PAX scores no higher than 130.

What I want to know is what are the GPAs and pax scores of the people that got DENIED. if their GPA are 3.2 and lower combined with a pax barely higher than 100 then it makes sense.

Idk. My back up plans are to suck it up and go to Wilkes or maybe get my respiratory tech associates since the Pre reqs are basically the same and the application deadline is March

Her GPA was actually a 4.0 and she passed the PAX with a 120

What was the reason for her denial three times? It must be something significant.

My classmate told me yesterday that she was denied fall 2014 and that the reason given to her from admissions was that her big sciences (ap 1 & 2, and micro) weren't done. She had applied december 2013 with just the English, psych and something else. Had a 125 pax.

There has to be something to that. I have someone in my Micro class that is in the nursing program now and she got in with a 3.5 and a 110/120 PAX. There is something major missing or wrong if those were her actual grades and scores.

People are starting to hear y'all. Someone in my class had her status changed in WebAdvisor

Where in WebAdvisor? Did it say accepted or denied??

WebAdvisor is the place you go to check financial aid, GPA, schedule/view classes. You have to go to the applicant menu and click on application status.

It said accepted for a classmate of mine. My page still says applied

Sorry I thought you said what is WebAdvisor.

When I log in I go to main menu and select applicants instead of students

Mine says applied also, does yours say start date S1/15?
