Has anyone applied to Lurie Children's new grad rn internship that starts in April? If so, have you heard anything back about an interview?

Hi! I applied in January and I received an email yesterday with an invitation to interview with the Ped Surgical & Transplant team. I applied to NICU & pre/post procedural care. I have not heard back from NICU.

@aa0506 Congrats! If you dont mind sharing, what date is your interview scheduled for?

@rn4kiddos123 I just got off the phone with HR. The lady i spoke with said not to expect to hear anything until March.

Thank you!! ? The email gave me a list of dates and asked to reply with a date that I'm available. I requested March 5th. However, I have not heard back. The email had dates as early as next Monday. What units did you apply to?

Hi! I applied in January, my top two choices were NICU and CCU. I got called back for both. CCU interviews are this week (2/26-2/28) and my NICU interview is the week of March 11th. I got contacted by CCU on Friday even though interviews were this week. NICU contacted me in early February.

Hi everyone! Best of luck for the upcoming interviews! I applied to hem/onc and CCU and I have an interview with hem/onc this week and have not heard anything from CCU.

My interview consisted of a meeting with the nurse manager and two other managerial staff on the unit, I was with another candidate and they basically just went over the internship in more detail and described the unit and changes that would be made. After that, they split us up and I shadowed for 30 minutes with a staff nurse and then met back with those same three people for the interview. They did ask a lot of questions and some were multiple part questions but they did not ask anything NCLEX style or scenario.
