Hey! I’m looking for people who applied to Lurie Children’s Nurse Residency August 2021 start date. I just want to connect with others who are in the same boat. ?
For all new graduates considering NICU, you should apply to Northshore Evanston Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU)! It is a NICU combined with babies that go up to one years old, I had an interview a couple days ago and they are eager to hire some new grads ? The application says part time but the manager clarified that it is actually a full time position with benefits!

Thank you for sharing! I was just looking on their website, and the job posting was from 5/18. Are they still actively recruiting for this position?
Also, wanted to mention that someone wrote on one of the older Lurie's threads that they received an interview invite this evening for the CCU. So, I think there is still hope for us if they're still sending them out! ? ?

Yes! Still actively recruiting?
Fingers crossed that Friday is the day that brings us all good news??

Still hoping for good news ?? Not getting my hopes up though so I applied to a bunch of other non-residency job postings in the area.

Thank you!! And that's awesome ?How long have you been working there?
Hi! Actually so glad I came across this post LOL. I applied for Hem/Onc and PICU and have yet to hear anything about an interview, still says “under review” since 6/11. Haven’t been feeling hopeful, thought maybe they’d start reaching out last week after people took their NCLEX? ugh, hate this wait. Good luck to everyone, hopefully this week!! ?

Hey! I just received an interview invite last night for the PICU. Don't give up hope! ?

There are threads from previous years that make it seem that all invites go out within a time frame of a week!
