Hey! I’m looking for people who applied to Lurie Children’s Nurse Residency August 2021 start date. I just want to connect with others who are in the same boat. ?

That’s awesome! Good luck to you! I also applied to NICU and HemOnc. Hopefully more emails are still going out this week! ??

Also, it says that the 'Last Update' was 6/11/21, even though I submitted before that and haven't changed it since. Does anyone know what that might mean?
Mine says the same thing regarding the last update - I think that might just mean that's when our application status changed to "Under Review," but I'm not sure.
Has anyone else received any updates or interview invitations?

No update from my end either. Getting slightly nervous ?
This sucks. For those that got interviews, what were your qualifications (clinical experience, degree, GPA, experience at Lurie)? I’m curious to know if maybe I wasn’t “qualified” enough for a residency program. I know the majority of my clinical experience was cut short due to covid but I did get to experience many different floors including NICU & CICU. ?

But also congratulations to those that got interviews! That sounded like it came off rude, but I meant no harm. Just very curious about what I was missing.
I personally have some experience as an RN - I’ve been working on inpatient surgery at SLCH since January and the surgical floor was one of the floors I applied to so I’m just very lost as far as what I was missing. I have a BSN. Worked as a nurse tech for a year and a half before I graduated. I’m just confused haha.
