Hi all!

Lucile Packard just opened their next round of applications. Just wanted to start a thread to talk about it! This is my second time applying, and it was so helpful to have support from one another. 

Are you applying/did you apply? What units are you most interested in?

I applied for PICU and Pedi Acute ?

Thank you!! ? Yes it was just an email offer. They said they'd call next week with the verbal offer and more details.

Congrats to both of you! So so exciting!!

Looks like we are getting our answers soon ?? Just want to know either way because the wait is so brutal!! Did they tell you guys how many they’re hiring on the units?

They didn’t say unfortunately... There wasn’t much information in the email. I’ve heard from someone who works at LPCH that they normally offer around 6 positions between the PICU and CVICU (I don’t think that includes float). I hope everyone hears back soon! ❤️

Also for those waiting on the NICU, I know someone was offered a position yesterday so hopefully you all should be hearing your answers soon as well! ??

You rock for all the updates! Much appreciated by all I’m sure ? Hoping we all hear something by Friday at the latest. BUT the meantime congratulations again and praying for everyone still in the waiting!

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if the unit hiring process is exclusive? I received a second interview with the ICN but was wondering if that meant I'm no longer being considered for the NICU.

@hereforthetea I was under the impression that you could only move forward and be considered for 1 unit, but I could be wrong

Has anyone else gotten offers? I’m assuming since some critical care offers already went out that I probably didn’t get the job though LOL.

Yeah I'm with you. A little bummed, but trying to stay positive.
So far I've seen 2 offers for PICU and 1 offer for CVICU.
I haven't heard anything about Float, though. 

I wonder if maybe they hired less people this round?

I haven't heard of any critical care float positions either, but I don't remember any float managers at my interview. Were they there? If not, I was assuming they aren't hiring anyone

There was someone from float in my interview so I think they were hiring someone but not sure though.
