Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital New Grad RN Residency- Fall 2020

Hi! Does anyone know if LPCH will still be opening up their new grad app for the Fall 2020 cohort or if it will be delayed due to the pandemic? I know the app should be opening up in April but their website still has the info from the past cohort period.

A questions for NICU people: there were representatives from the NICU and from the ICN, which is a separate unit. Are we in the running for separate positions on both floors or are they hiring for someone to go between both units?

Pretty sure all offers for L&D and Maternity have been sent out ? I know they have sent rejections to those who made it to the second round interviews, but that is only like 4 people for each unit (they interviewed 8 for second round and chose 4) so I think the rest will come later for others.

Hello, I have an acute care interview on the 31st at 8am. I'm not sure if they are planning on dong second round interviews, I just checked the timeline for the RN new grad program and it says that they will be conducting interviews from July 20-31st.

I was wondering the same thing! I was thinking that both floors are hiring? But it could also be that the new grads get experience on both units, so not sure.

Just as a FYI, I did end up emailing ---------------- a thank you and I got an automated reply saying she’s conducting interviews. So if you do need to contact her for any reason she may not get it right away.

Okay so some news on this front-they are hiring for both units. No idea on how many slots for each, but they are separate jobs. The girl I know who works there now told me.
