can someone explain to me what evidence based interview questions are exactly? I am having a hard time finding examples. thank you so much in advance!

Something they might be asking you like: Tell me abt a time when you had implemented EBP into your patient care? Or Tell me about a time when you could not implement EBP into your care due to differences in your patient’s belief

Anyone who interviewed this week hear back about second round interviews?? Or anyone know what to expect for the second interview?

I had an interview yesterday. I have not heard back yet. We were told that we would hear by the end of next week whether or not we “got it”. Not sure if “got it” means the job or a second interview.

I thought they said we’d hear back by the end of this week because the second interview would be Monday, but maybe I heard wrong... I haven’t heard back yet

I interviewed for L&D, they did say we’d hear back by today since 2nd interview is Monday. I haven’t heard back. I’m pretty sure it’s a no. Wasn’t meant to be. CONGRATS on your interview, use it as practice for the next one ?

From what I heard from someone who was hired for the March cohort, the NICU does not do second round interviews and makes their decision on the first one alone. So if you are interviewing for NICU, just know there is no second round unless the pandemic has changed things at all. I do not know about the other units.

do you know how many they will be hiring this cohort?

Nope. She only knew that last time (in march) they took two. I also don't know if they take more in the fall - my hospital that I currently work at hires more for the fall cohort than for the Spring one so IDK.

For those of you that interviewed for L&D-- has anyone heard anything, either way? I thought they said they would let us know either way by the end of the week. I haven't heard anything. But I am assuming since the 2nd interview is Monday, I didn't get one. Unless there was a change of plans and they didn't inform us?

I haven’t heard either and it’s really stressing me out! LOL they did say by the end of the week and the second interview would be Monday... It’d be nice to have a couple of days to practice if we do get a second interview ?

Same!! I'm sure we were all obsessively checking our email these last few days! Disappointing and hard to not have heard at all. I wish I knew if anyone has heard if they actually got the second interview. I'm assuming we didn't get an interview if we haven't heard. But I still have a little shred of hope because with the first interview they said they'd let us know by a certain date and then it wasn't until the week after. So maybe plans changed about when they will be doing a second interview? Who knows. Going to try to get my mind off of it for a couple days since it's now the weekend and we won't hear anything until Monday again anyways. Good luck to you!
