LSU School of Nursing SPRING 2014 :-)

Hey guys...I started the LSU Fall 2013 Thread and got wait listed ... haven't heard anything back from them except that all their spots are full. So I'm getting ready to apply for their spring semester. For the rest of the folks who got wait listed with me let's get to making things happen for spring! I welcome any advice or pointers. I also went through the whole interview process, if anyone has anything to share or any questions please don't hesitate to post.

I talked to the school of nursing today because I still haven't seen a letter. She said all of the letters were sent out on the 18th, but they were having problems with the post office. I keep hearing conflicting statements about it, though. What bothers me the most: How am I supposed to send a letter back to them if I receive it the day before it's due? Pretty upsetting :/

I received my acceptance letter late last week and I am really excited about attending LSUHSC next semester. I am from out of state and I plan on living on campus for at least the first semester. Is there anyone else that is planning on living on campus?

The "New Student" tab on LSU's website was supposed to be updated this past Friday. It's now Tuesday...what gives LSU lol? Just venting a little. On the brighter side of things acceptance and deposit have been submitted

I printed out all the stuff from the tab then realized it said 2012/2013. Lol.

I was wondering what was going on...I went to sign up for the new student advising session but the dates were still June/July

@john26 did they respond to you with an acceptance after you confirmed since you were on the wait list. Some people on the westbank still have not received their letter, including me.

I wonder how people are suppose to confirm if some haven't even received their letter. The lady who emailed me back today said different batches were sent out at different times. So I don't know what is going on.

@eht90 No they haven't called me back with an open spot yet, that's why I was asking about when were the acceptance letters are supposed to be turned in by because my alternate letter also said confirm by nov 1st! I don't know why you guys still haven't gotten a letter but stay positive , it sucks to wait!

On threads from previous years, I've read about people who haven't received letters calling the school to ask if they got accepted so they could meet the acceptance letter/fee deadline. Would it be totally crazy to just call and ask them?

@obieandtank if you decide to do that, let me know if they tell you something. I haven't gotten anything out of them yet.

I called again today and they said they haven't sent out all of the acceptance letters yet...This gives me some hope because another lady said all of the letters were sent on the 18th, 11 days ago, and that it was something the post office did. I'm still worried sick about all of this and angry at all of the misinformation I've received. Just want that letter!
