LSU School of Nursing SPRING 2014 :-)

Hey guys...I started the LSU Fall 2013 Thread and got wait listed :unsure:... haven't heard anything back from them except that all their spots are full. So I'm getting ready to apply for their spring semester. For the rest of the folks who got wait listed with me let's get to making things happen for spring! I welcome any advice or pointers. I also went through the whole interview process, if anyone has anything to share or any questions please don't hesitate to post.

@eht90 It was a normal size envelope with 4 papers folded in it...I was expecting something bigger haha. Good luck!

@chin05 congrats on getting in , I saw on your previews posts that you were not sure if you were going to take the spot if accepted? What did you decide?

I've already spent about $300 with the Charity process but it was an investment for my future. Right now with all the feed back from my family and friends who are all nurses it's best that I just go ahead and go to LSU. I will make my final decision sometime this weekend. Exciting but scared at the same time :unsure:

Anyone else get on the waiting list? I received my letter today and I'm on it! Does anyone know how it works and if I can do something else other than email the lady to confirm the spot?

@elizabeth23 my hesi score was an 80 with a 3.5 gpa ! I haven't heard of many people that got acceptance letters yet! I also live in the westbank. Good luck to everyone

I am surprised you got wait listed. I had a 74 hesi and 3.8 GPa and I am so nervous I will be wait listed and not accepted. Keeping my fingers crossed

I really don't know why , I wish I knew but hopefully I get a call soon with an open spot! You have a great chance on getting in though so don't worry too much

@John26 I was wait listed for this past fall 2013. I never got off the wait list lol. But I did reapply for Spring and now I'm in. There is no way to tell where you are in line as far as the waiting period is goes, but let's just hope a spot opens up and you get in.

Also I was a bit discouraged because I didn't get my letter when everyone else was posting about receiving theirs. I eventually got mine yesterday and I literally live within 5 minutes of the school. I checked the post mark on the envelope it wasn't stamped until Monday. So don't lose hope just yet!
