Hello!

I wanted to start a thread for all of us applying to LSU’s CRNA program starting in 2020. Past forums have seemed to be helpful in keeping up with timelines and connecting with one another. Can’t believe it’s time, but here we go!

how was the OLOL interview?

Just tried to sign up for LSUs interview but every date said the slots were full. I'm trying to get someone to cover my shift for one of those days because I'm scheduled to work every night they are offered. ? I emailed to see if there were going to be any alternate dates.

They got me on the clinical questions. In my head I planned to talk about septic patients and respiratory failure. So they asked what kind of patients I took care of so I told them and they were like that’s it, so I took it as they wanted more so I s aid dka and of course they went with that. I blanked out. I don’t feel like I answered their questions well enough to the depth they were looking for. But Overall I didn’t think it was as bad as I’ve heard it to be

I've been told by several people in the program and who graduated that they will ask until you can't answer anymore. They are looking to see that you can admit when you don't know. I'm sure you did well!

I didn’t really get asked many personal questions. It was more like how do you respond to conflict and criticism

Interview went well!! Don’t worry, it’s not that bad! I wonder how long FranU would give you to say yes or no, considering LSU won’t give us acceptance/denial till late October maybe
