Who inspires you, how you cope with stress, how you deal with an issue with a peer, demonstrate a skill or give a lesson on something, give an example of a core value of LSU nursing school you exemplify. I had to look that last one up. Just Google it. Pretty straightforward. You also have unlimited time to think about your answer . Good luck everyone.
Thank you for sharing this, it has helped me a lot to prepare for the interview!! Good luck to us!

No, I have been trying to Google what kind of questions to expect for proctored essays but what I just found is why did you pick nursing.

Same here, but I found that most proctored essays ask why did you pick nursing.
So I just asked a friend of mine who is in her first year Lsu nursing program and this is what she said:
"Oh hmm.. I think it was either "why do you want to be a nurse" or something like that. The main thing they want to see is that you can write a well-formed paper. They'll tell you they want an intro, conclusion, along with a body paragraph (or something along those lines).
They claim that's what they are looking for so I'm very confused how some of my classmates got in based off of their work in group project papers... but yeah."
Hope this helps.

Prior years there were multiple essay questions. Not everyone got the same thing. But definitely research the school. Know the history, the philosopy, core values, mission statement. How do you as an individual reflect that legacy? Why did you pick LSU? What values do you bring to nursing? That kind of stuff.
And remember, the essay is to test your writing ability. Are your sentences logical? Do you support your argument? Its less about what you say than how you say it. They want to make sure you'll be able to write papers for class.
