LSU CARE PROGRAM 2021

Hey y’all I just wanted to start a thread for those planning on applying to the CARE program for 2021. I know it’s far out, but we can start planning ahead. Looking forward to talking to every one ?

If we got the email on Friday, we have until Tuesday ( tomorrow ) to do it correct?

I believe so. For some reason I  thought we have till Wednesday but will be doing it tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

it was pretty easy!! I took my time thinking about answers but don’t put too much thought in to it. there are no right or wrong answers

Hi all! I just came across this thread and wanted to know if anyone has any updates on their steps in the CARE 2021 online interview? I haven't done my interview or essay yet (doing interview this week via the link they sent), but once I do, I will be happy to post about it best I can. I can't imagine it'll be the same questions for everyone anyway, but I figured I'd still ask. Even students that gained admission last year, it'd be nice to have an idea of what they have asked or things they look for. Thanks in advance for any responses, and good luck to y'all! ?

I did ask previous students if they remembered the questions. It is pretty much the same. I did mine about an hour ago. Basic interview questions. Who inspires you, how you cope with stress, how you deal with an issue with a peer, demonstrate a skill or give a lesson on something, give an example of a  core value of LSU nursing school you exemplify. I had to look that last one up. Just Google it. Pretty straightforward. You also have unlimited time to think about your answer . Good luck everyone.

Awesome, thanks Thuy! Good luck to you! I'm doing mine tomorrow. That's good to know that there is unlimited time to answer. And those questions do seem pretty straightforward, I like it.

yes the the unlimited to think helps a lot! after the interviews I was saying wow I stressed over this LOL! also just to give y’all a timeframe on things. did my interview yesterday today I received an invite for essay! best wishes.

I got an essay invite about an hour after I submitted my interview. You click on the link and choose a time slot in March.

yes my link wasn’t working unfortunately. they told me my email was incorrect??
