LSU Care Fall 2019

Hello guys! I wanted to start this thread to see if anyone is applying for the LSU Care Fall 2019 program? Applications are due next month and I am super nervous about submitting, and was wondering if anyone was feeling the same or knew anyone who is currently in the program. :/

I read on other blogs the essay was why nursing? why lsu? why now? how will you contribute to our mission and vision?

They may change the question because some interview questions were different than last year.

Yeah I'm a bit nervous on the essay part. I need to practice writing again, it's been a few semesters since I've taken an technical writing course. Thanks for the info @NGOrtiz

Your welcome. I am nervous as well. Writing is not something I am strong in. I will be practicing and praying that these are the questions.

I would find different writing prompts from nursing schools and practice writing a full essay, but time yourself. ? you got this !

@alextaylor17 How did your speech go?

I answered mine like I was giving a speech in a speech class. Very formal. I hope that Is what they wanted.

I hope we get an update soon, I have to request days off at work if I get invited to do the written essay portion.

@alextaylor17 for every question I was very formal and performed as if I was giving a speech in speech class. @Tboudreaux I am also anxiously waiting. I hope your interview went well.

Hmm I was formal, but I also wanted to show them my personality as well. I didn't want to sound like a robot. @NGOrtiz
