LSU BSN Spring 2015

Published

Hi all!

I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)

My mailman stopped by around 930 am

nothing today. maybe tomorrow.

anticipation hurts.

yes, hopefully tomorrow y'all! crossing my fingers and saying my prayers

Speaking from experience, as I applied for this Fall 2014 semester and didn't get in, DON'T drive yourselves crazy waiting for a letter! I can't even count the amount of different things we got told about when our letters would be sent out, etc. Applicants would call or e-mail and get told different things from different people at LSUHSC. I know Ms.Gravolet sounded like she was working to make things smoother this time around, which I am hoping for as well, but I'm not holding my breath! Also, I know that last time there was no rhyme or reason as to how the letters got mailed out. It wasn't based on where you live, what your last name was, what set of interviews you went to... even the counselor told me that she didn't know the reasoning behind how they send out the letters- if there was any at all. Just wanted to throw this out there, as I know it can become frustrating waiting! Good luck to everyone!

Going back to older forums, I see the confusion and wait that everyone went through and I hope it's not the same this year, but I just keep telling myself to relax! Good luck yall!

Anything yet?? My mailman doesn't come until 3pm. =(

Even if they were sent to mail out on Monday it takes a couple days for the mail to be processed by LSU then go to the USPS.

I did just get an email response from Ms Gravolet that they were sent out Monday and Tuesday

Well that's a little relieving to here. I hope they are actually in transit. I live in mid city close to LSU and I'm still at school but I got hope when I get home!

hopefully this week we will get them. snail mail takes forever.

didn't get mine yet but the mail guy comes super early.
