  1. @k_johnson07 I'm in the same boat as you , my gpa was great and interview went wonderful my paper I thought was good as well and I'm on the alternate list. I called mrs. Gravoilet earlier and she basically said that 102 people were offered spots and the remaining 90 people got in the alternate list (which in my opinion is stupid) she said that however many spots are free from people not accepting their spots the dean will be choosing the best qualified. It makes no sense and the odds of getting picked are very slim.
  2. I got in the alternate list , this is the third time I've applied and third time getting wait listed . I'm pretty bummed needless to say . They also have a different way for alternate students , we don't have to email them confirming our spot they already have a list which is not ranked.
  3. Everyone who got acceptance letters, what was your hesi and gpa scores if you don't mind me asking?
  4. Nothing in the mail today . Congrats to those who already heard good news. Anyone around the gretna- West Bank area receive anything ?
  5. I had no idea letters were sent from BR, for some reason I thought they were sent from lsuhsc. I keep looking on this thread hoping someone from the New Orleans area got their letter. The wait is certainly killing me!
  6. No letter today, I live in the gretna area!! Has anyone heard or received anything yet?
  7. I talked to Mrs. Gravoilet yesterday and she told me that letters will be mailed out Monday. I'm getting more and anxious! I hope everyone on this group gets good news.
  8. Has anyone heard anything ? I feel like it's been forever ... @keilimesquuez that sucks if it's true why would they do that and not wait for lsu letters to go out first
  9. Well thats awesome Congratulation on getting into charity, at least you'll be going somewhere. But Im sure you'll get in at LSUHSC.
  10. @keylimesqueez Thanks for the suggestion. I called and Mrs.Gravolet said that it was probably going in my junk mail, other students were having the same problem. End of October seems so far away!
  11. Ohhh maybe I didnt get the email yet because my interview was in the second group. Thanks guys! What are y'all doing to keep this school thing out of mind? Im currently enrolled in school and it isn't really working keeping me occupied lol
  12. Hey everyone when I had my interview the lady told us that she would do a follow up email. Has anyone gotten or heard anything ? I think I'm more impatient now than I was before the interview blehhh
  13. Hello Everyone I just found this threat wish I would have known about it sooner. This is my second time applying, I was wait listed last time. I have a miserable 71 on my hesi , did not re-take it, 3.5 GPA, i think my statement paper is pretty good and my interview went pretty awesome. Im also a CNA so idk if that'll help? I really hope i get in this time around. Good luck to everyone. These next few weeks are going to suck!
  14. @chin05 congrats on getting in , I saw on your previews posts that you were not sure if you were going to take the spot if accepted? What did you decide?
  15. Thanks guys !!! Hopefully i get in :) it sucks that I have to wait "again" ha
