I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)
Hello Everyone I just found this threat wish I would have known about it sooner. This is my second time applying, I was wait listed last time. I have a miserable 71 on my hesi , did not re-take it, 3.5 GPA, i think my statement paper is pretty good and my interview went pretty awesome. Im also a CNA so idk if that'll help? I really hope i get in this time around. Good luck to everyone. These next few weeks are going to suck!
I think you will be fine! I have a 70 on the Hesi with a 3.3 GPA my essay was pretty good ( in my opinion) lol and I think my interview went great! I don't think you have anything to worry about!
Yes ma'am! I had my interview Tuesday, I absolutely loved everything about it. Just holding my breath and saying prayers now. It would be so great if we were able to start together!

I received an email a couple of days ago basically saying thank you and then stating that they will start reviewing applications in October and if the address I put down was correct

Yes I received the follow up email Thursday....they may be sending more out this week.

I had my interview on Tuesday Sept 23 and received the follow up email last week. You should call.
@keylimesqueez Thanks for the suggestion. I called and Mrs.Gravolet said that it was probably going in my junk mail, other students were having the same problem. End of October seems so far away!

No prob! I am going CRAZY. I got in to Charity - so I know I am going somewhere come January. But I really want LSU and I want to get started buying stuff, getting my schedule together and what not.
This wait is so painful!! I had a dream that I didn't get in, it was like American Idol where you're voted off and everybody knows that you're not in while those who did get in were celebrating. At least if I don't get in, it won't be THAT bad...
