Hi all!
I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)
I am so excited for all of us! Still no idea what I am going to wear ... but I will figure that out. I hope the waiting period is less anxious than when we were waiting to hear about an interview. I am sure everyone will be great! Have y'all heard anything else about how the interview process went for others? Aside from those of you who already kindly posted on here to let us know how it went
I am excited for the interview as well! But I'm super undecided on what to wear, or how to do my hair. If they are putting a name to a face, I wonder how much appearances will matter... but I guess this is the girl coming out of me. And I keep trying to think of answers to interview questions! Anyone confident on how to answer "what is your weakness?" I don't want to say anything too cheesy i.e. I care too much, or say anything that will throw myself under the bus.

I typically go with "self critical"
Did the interview portion really last a whole hour?
The interview itself didn't last a whole hour, maybe 15/20 minutes at most, but the other events (the tour and video) were about 15 minutes each. I was along the last two to be interviewed for the day, however, and they simply skipped the video since it can be found online.
Good luck to everyone interviewing today!! I'm so nervous for tomorrow! Let us know how it goes :)
Don't be nervous! The interview portion flew by quickly. The tour is very informative. Basically the same questions like everyone else said...(challenges u think you'll be faced with, what has prepared me, values a nurse should have).
