LSU BSN Spring 2015

Published

Hi all!

I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)

*down to it, it was a very comfortable process. The tour before hand definitely got me more excited than nervous, & it went smoothly. Just be yourself! Answer their questions honestly and you'll be just fine! Good luck :)

Did the interview portion really last a whole hour?

I haven't gotten my email yet.. Is this something they send out all at once or one at a time?

I would be willing to bet that they are not done sending out emails

Still waiting for my email I don't know why I have not got one yet turned in the application 2 weeks before dead line I have a 3.5 gpa and got a 75 on the hesi test and turned it my goals paper with it

You can call them and find out about you application or send email at least to know what's going on.Goodluck!

I called they said they can't give out any information over the phone has to be in the email...

Hey everyone! This is actually my third time applying to lsu :(. I had my interview already on sept. 8 and it was very laid back. The questions were not difficult but you should read and be familiar with the core values because they base their questions off of them. Good luck everyone!!!

I have my interview next Monday.... Do y'all think that a peplum top and a jacket with matching slacks would be appropriate??

Yep! I was thinking about a peplum dress with a jacket/cardigan

Yea that's appropriate to wear. I wore slacks as well.

Okay thank you!
