Hi all!
I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)
I have a 4.0 GPA & and an 87% on the HESI! I wouldn't focus too much on the HESI score as much as the other components. From what I hear, people with a wide range of HESI scores have been accepted because it isn't weighted as highly. As long as you put forth effort in your personal statements as well as future interviews, with a little faith added anything is possible!
Does anyone who is applying have to work once accepted into nursing school? Many people have said it is nearly impossible, but I have to work. I was just wondering if anyone was in this same boat or have found a way around it!
I will have to work enough to pay for daycare (what a catch 22 that is).

There were no physics questions on the test. I used the study guide and made an 85% which is pretty good considering I've been out of school for 6 years.
