It means they have started opening up the applications for review and you should be on the look out for another email regarding interviews or reasons why you aren't qualified.

Did you mean to put all those question marks? Or were you so excited that you forgot to put exclamation marks instead?

If you don't get in, try again for the following semester. Try and get a job at a clinic or hospital, or maybe go for a CNA or EMT certification. Best of luck!

I, too, work in the restaurant industry. I also have a part time job with Ochsner as well. I will continue to work night shifts if I get accepted. However, Ochsner has job openings for student nurses after their second semester I believe. So, I plan on applying for some of those jobs once I'm at that position. Good luck

I am applying as well. What sucks is that we have to wait twice.. once to hear back if we got an interview, then again to see if we passed the interview. Here's hoping I get accepted and can start in the spring, rather than the summer

I too have a 3.0 on my pre-req's. I received a 87% on my HESI though. I'm hoping my military background as a corpsman and my statement letter will push me through. If i get wait listed or denied, I'll just try, try again. Good luck mate.
