LSU BSN Fall 2017

Hello,

I will be applying to the LSU BSN program for the fall of 2017. I know that it is early, but I wanted to get an early start on the application process. I also wanted to reach out to other people who are also applying to this program for the same class. Does anyone know when the application will open (since its due in Jan. 2017)? Does anyone have any study tips for the application?

gotcha, i like that we get to tour the school as part of the essay day.

I'm so anxious for everything! Did you consider the accelerated program since you graduate in may?

yeah I looked into it, but i haven't taken Anatomy or physiology, so i decided to do the BSN to make sure I had a really good foundation to start with. and the accelerated program application due date was in January and you had to have your degree then. So i wouldn't be eligible to apply until Jan. 2018.

Did you hear anything about students coming from lsu having a greater chance than others?

i've heard something about them possibly getting preference, but I don't think its true. I think they look at everyone's individual qualifications
