LSU BSN Fall 2017

Hello,

I will be applying to the LSU BSN program for the fall of 2017. I know that it is early, but I wanted to get an early start on the application process. I also wanted to reach out to other people who are also applying to this program for the same class. Does anyone know when the application will open (since its due in Jan. 2017)? Does anyone have any study tips for the application?

I applied last January and was waitlisted. In my interview I was asked:

1. Who is your support system?

2. Pick one of the core values and explain how it it is important to nursing

3. When was a time your morals conflicted someone else's morals?

and I can't remember the last. It was a breeze though.

I would say about the middle of March. Hopefully we can find out sooner! I know the proctored essay dates are scheduled for March 2nd and 3rd.

do you remember which gpa they took into consideration more? the one from the first 16 hrs or total pre-reqs?

Me too! I think about it all day. It's so draining lol Im kind of nervous for the essay because I don't know what to expect and I tend to get writers block often.

I know! 30 min doesnt seem that much time to write an essay, so hopefully its a pretty strait forward topic. I have to worry about my current classes this semester too.

I would expect for it to be straight forward also. I tried asking someone in another thread but they didn't respond:\. I did talk to someone at the information session and he said it isn't anything to worry about.

yeah somone of my friends are at the school now, and i tried asking them questions, but when they applied they had to write the essay on their own and turn it in.

I can't imagine it being too complicated. We should be fine. Not that it matters but may I ask where did you take your pre-reqs?

I took them all at LSU-BR. I'm graduating there in May.
