Hey everyone! I was a spring 2014 applicant, I received an alternate letter so I am crossing my fingers I have better luck this semester! I know everyone probably feels like a huge weight is lifted off their shoulders as today was the application deadline. But now the nervousness is kicking in! I created this thread because I figured we all need the moral support - or at least I know I do lol! I hope I can be of help to anyone who may have questions as far as interviews and the time frame of this process! Good Luck to all of you!! :)
I just got my acceptance letter today. I'm in Seattle so I was surprised it came so soon. The letter says your form and check are due by April 18th. And to all you folks still waiting, keep your hopes up! My cousin was one of the last to receive her acceptance letter, so the date when you receive your letter means nothing! Hopefully I'll get to meet all y'all this August!
Does anyone know when class actually starts?

Class usually starts on a Wednesday, so possibly August 13th.
I live on the westbank and applied to the CARE accelerated nursing program and also got my acceptance letter today! Super duper excited about coming home from a long shift to get great news, but anyways, as far as I know, I've only heard of acceptance letters and alternative letters being sent out. If that helps anyone on this thread, I'm glad. As for everyone else, keep your heads up! Good luck guys!
Well i called this morning and was told they still had some letters to be sent out. I told the lady i was kind of worried because a lot of people in baton rouge had gotten theirs and my letter is going to baton rouge and i haven't gotten anything yet. She also told me that the letters in the second batch are mixed as well so for those who didn't get a letter don't freak out.

BTW... Mine was postmarked from Baton Rouge. Makes sense now that the Baton Rouge applicants received theirs first.
