I want to try to get into the bridge program which is LPN to RN in one year. There is limited space and only one class per year. One of the requirements is the ACT test. Ive never taken one. Any suggestions on what to concentrate on or if the nursing ACT is different than a general college entrance ACT???? Any help would be appreciated!

The ACT is similar in importance to the SAT. It is basically a test to determine if you have the skills necessary to complete coursework at the college level. Click on the link below to read more information about the ACT.

Best of luck to you! Commuter and I both did the bridge program from LPN to RN and, speaking only for myself of course, it was one of the best things I have ever done.

Yea best of luck. Im planning on doing the same. I think it's the best route if you can afford it because it can become quite expensive. What area are you in? In Fremont, they have a school named Unitek that has the bridgd program. Might be worth looking into.
