LPN Training Under 11 months

Published

I have been finding that 11 months is the norm for the LPN programs.

Does anyone know of any accelerated LPN programs that are less than 11 months?

Nope. Our school is 18 months long full-time M-F. (including one semester of pre-req's) I couldn't imagine anything being less than 11 months. We have multiple tests every week, I can't imagine how much work/tests must be done is less than a year!

where are you located? My program that I am starting tomorow is from sept 3, 2008- july8,2009(our graduation ceremony)...so 10 months. It is full time, obviously,M-F 8-2:30....clinical hours vary. It is very intense....the part time takes 2 years. I cant wait to start!!!

oh and I didnt have to take any prereq's. The program isnt shady- its very highly recommended and acreditted

Specializes in LTC, rehab, medical review.

My program is 10 months long as well, no pre-reqs, just and entrance test. I start tomorrow, and graduation ceremony is June 29th.

Mine is 9 months and I am located in Central Illinois...

I am in the MD/DC/VA area, but I am able to temporarily relocate if I can find a shorter program.

Where is your program located?

Massachusetts

the website for my school is http://ti.sersd.org/

My school also requires an entrance exam(TEAS).

Hope this helped!:)

mine says its a 12mo program, but it starts mid august, graduation is mid june, and with holiday time, it's 9mo. total.

It's fully accredited and the local ADN programs use my school for it's 1+1 program. We have class from 7:40-2:15 and starting next month will have two to three 8hr clinicals per week.

We have 3-4 exams per week, plus quizzes, modules, and group work to turn in. It's intense. I feel like every day is totally focused on school. I just finished up a test this morning, along with a quiz and a handout, and tomorrow I have another exam and module due, and the same on Thurs.

my program is from aug 25th-july 30th. we have pre-req's to take.
