But one cannot go to Canada to work if they have the LPN; and vice versa for the US. Neither country grants a visa to work based on that training. Only if they already hold a visa that will permit them to work in that country. Australia usually will not accept an LPN from the US or Canada for immigration purposes.
I am not aware of Saudi Arabia even using the LPN role; you may be able to get a job in a care-giver role provided that the visa that you will be on will permit you to work there.
Best of luck to you.
Could you elaborate on this?
Going on what I have seen on US training my training in the UK as EN was 2 years where US seems to be less than that. I know Canada is different again compared to the US but not 100% sure on their training so not able to comment. The member asking what LPN was is in the UK so was easier commenting on EN in the UK as they will be aware on that role/scope of nursing compared to Canada. Also I know the scope is different and Canada seems to be similar from a bit I have read on scope although in the UK I was able to put up blood products just needs a RN to check documentation and patient. Just my impression

Hello all, I am very happy to find this page.
I am an LPN student going to graduate in September. Due to time constrants I most likely will not be able to finish school for RN before my family moves to Saudi Arabia. How do I find out if an American LPN degree is accepted there? Thanks for any help!
