Nurses LPN/LVN

Anybody know how much LPNs make in the er? I just saw a job posting for one. Thanks!

It depends on the area you live in. Do you know any LVNs who work in the hospital? I'd ask them what they make, it should give you an idea.

ER LPNs make the same as floor staff in my hospital.

Pay is totally dependent on the geographic area in which one lives and works.

I know of someone who works as an LPN in the ER. This person earns $14 per hour and is in a Midwestern state that is not known for competitive pay rates.

I get irritated by these posts at times. You have to understand we would have no idea about pay without even knowing where you are from. I'm certainly not going to look at your profile to find out. You should include basic information so we can give you a reasonable answer.

They have been trending lately...

When I started in the ED as an LPN, my base pay was $13.65/hr... I left a job that was paying $18.5/hr. This was in the last 5 years.

I was just trying to get a ballpark figure since LPNs hardly ever work in the hospital anymore. Thanks to all who replied.
